Handover
Working definition
Moving a job from a person to an agent, with its authority, responsibility and accountability written down before it starts.
Not to be confused with
- Delegation: the wider act of giving someone work; a handover is delegation with the three lines written down.
Example. When our part-time helper left, the accounting tasks were handed over to an agent, routine first. Asking a model one question about an invoice would not have been a handover.
