Job
Working definition
A piece of work a person used to do from start to finish, named as that person would name it. The unit I hand over, assess and write about.
Not to be confused with
- Role: a label that groups several jobs, such as "finance".
- Task: one step inside a job.
Example. Proposing which incoming invoices to pay is a job. "Finance" is a role made of several jobs.
